Quote Now is one of the most sophisticated illustration systems avaliable. It gives you current, compliant carrier illustrations in just a few minutes over the Internet. Eliminate hours of downloading! What is the difference between comparisons and illustrations? Comparisons do just that, they compare different carriers prices based on the parameters placed in the comparison software fields. An Illustration is when you have selected a carrier and you want to get a quote from the carrier based on specific parameters. How do I get started with Quote Now? To get started running the Quote Now Illustration System, you will first need to register. To register, log on to the Web site
and select the Quote Now link under the Favorites column towards the bottom of the home page. The next page will take you to terms that you will need to understand and agree to. Once you have agreed to the terms you will come to a page that will have the options "Run Quote Now" and "Register with Quote Now."
You will need to select the button labeled "Register with Quote Now". You will then varify your email address and then select the button labeled "Register Now". Once submitted, the request for registration will be processed and you will recieve an email indicating that the process has been complete. The email will contain instructions on what steps need to be completed before accessing the Quote Now system. When I click on the button "Register with Quote Now" I get the message, "Our records show that you have not submitted or placed a case with GWINS in the past year." What does this mean? The Quote Now system is a sophisticated illustration system provided to agents by GWINS. To offset the costs of running this system, users must have submitted or placed a case with GWINS within the past twelve months. If this message is incorrect, please contact the Internet support at 888-246-0011. Once a case has been placed through GWINS, you will be eligible to register for Quote Now. Other methods of running illustrations are listed at the bottom of this page. Once I have recieved an email confirming I have registered, what steps do I take? Once you recieve the email confirming the registeration of your ID on the Quote Now system, you will need to go to the Quote Now link under the Favorites section on the home page. Proceed by selecting "One Time Download and Install" just to the right of the Run Quote Now Illustrations button. This download is a Cirtix ICA Client that will allow access to LBH's Citrix Servers where the Quote Now System resides.
Once the One Time Download is complete, restart your computer, log back onto the Web site, and begin using Quote Now by selecting "Run Quote Now". Enjoy! Is there a way to link an assistant's user id and password to an agent's Quote Now system to show cases as being placed?
